15th Year of Retail Summit will discuss retail solutions for harder times

Retail Summit, the largest retail event in Central and Eastern Europe, celebrates its jubilee 15th year – will nevertheless not represent ceremonial party only. The retail market enters very critical period and calls for detailed discussion how to go on. After fifteen relatively easy years of development of modern trade tough times are coming – most of all due to the starting lack of money. The shoppers will think about their retail expenditures twice – not just due to the slowing growth of real incomes but also in respect to new opportunities to spend money in other industries, or even abroad. Other sources of money are being limited as well, and not just because of financial crisis. Investors and bankers understand very well that period of unsaturated trade market belongs to the history and take very conservative approach towards financing of retailing. Summit organizers believe now is the right time to energize the drying-off sources of money through innovative ideas, knowledge and shared experience. They have prepared extensive and intensive program aiming to deliver inspiration for both short and long term strategies. The annual summit is targeted on everyone who wants to succeed in the demanding market of the next fifteen years – no matter how big he or she is and what is the geographical footprint.
